Moonrise Kingdom

though it’s here, I just like this shot…

Serious, thoughtful and brooding, with a comedic titter tatter tap. Altering reality with scales and angles. And tinted with the haze of the 60s, the wavy heat of the summer. Wrapped in grandiose orchestra, choir and beach music twangs – signifying beach lazing or the forward tumbling of adventures. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. For its depthless love and unblinking honesty, brazen human faults and explosive ultimate and through running, sweet sentiment. The thought patterns stream like consciousness does and the whole thing feels almost completely real. Though the vision may be skewed, the truths it hold are a million times more real than many a story.
